Common Ground

In a time when everything feels divided—when every issue has a side, every debate a winner and a loser—is there still room for common ground?

Is there something we can still agree on?

That we want safe neighborhoods.
That we want good schools for our kids.
That we want fair wages, affordable healthcare, and a future that feels possible.

That we all feel exhausted by the chaos.
That we miss a time when people could disagree without becoming enemies.

That we all want to believe in something better.

Maybe we don’t see eye to eye on everything. Maybe we never will.

But every day, we get to decide—

Do we keep letting the loudest voices tear us apart?
Or do we choose to keep listening, keep showing up, keep trying—even when it’s easier to walk away?

Because if there’s still common ground to be found—

It won’t be in the headlines.
It will be in us.
